Job Title: 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician

Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor

Department: Maintenance

FLSA: Non-exempt (eligible for overtime)

Location: Breinigsville, PA

Job Summary:

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, manuals, and specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
2. Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for issues; using testing instruments.
3. Remove defective parts by dismantling devices; using hand and power tools; examining parts.
4. Determine changes in dimensional requirements by inspecting used parts with measuring instruments.
5. Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments with hand tools, levels, and straightedges.
6. Control downtime by informing production workers about routine maintenance; monitoring compliance.
7. Maintain inventory of equipment, parts, and supplies; check stock levels; place and verify orders.
8. Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently.
9. Provide maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
10. Prepare maintenance reports by analyzing and summarizing data and trends.
11. Maintain team continuity by documenting actions, irregularities, and needs.
12. Ensure a safe and clean working environment by following procedures and regulations.
13. Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least three (3) years of maintenance experience in a warehouse environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Walking, sitting for prolonged periods, bending, kneeling, stooping.
• Frequent use of hands and wrists; fine manipulation skills.
• Lifting up to 20 pounds.
