Job Description Summary

The Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician safely and independently performs preventive, routine, and reactive maintenance tasks. As a GE Power business, Metem offers cooling hole technologies in the power generation and aerospace industries to increase engine efficiency. We provide a comprehensive suite of non-conventional and conventional machining services in a sophisticated, environmentally conscious manner.

Job Description

What you'll do

1. Perform predictive, preventative, corrective, and routine maintenance on production equipment.
2. Troubleshoot, repair, assemble, and install electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic systems, and pumps.
3. Calibrate process control equipment and maintain motor starters, variable frequency drives, and servo controls.
4. Perform circuit board repairs, soldering, wiring, and rework using various test equipment.
5. Assemble power supplies and electronic equipment.
6. Install and repair plumbing, piping, conduit, and raceway systems.
7. Perform interior and exterior facilities and building maintenance.
8. Document work activities using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

What you will bring

1. High school diploma or GED with 5 years of manufacturing experience (CNC preferred) or an associate degree/certificate and 3 years of experience.
2. Knowledge of AC/DC circuits in high and low voltage applications.
3. Working knowledge of controls, mechanical, electrical, and electronic principles.
4. Basic computer skills (Windows environment).

Eligibility Requirements

1. Ability to work 3rd shift: 10am-6am.
2. Ability to lift/push/pull at least 50 pounds.
3. Ability to work overtime, including occasional weekends.
4. Must comply with U.S. export restrictions; only open to U.S. persons.

What will make you stand out

1. J-STD 001 or ISO 2000 soldering certification or equivalent.
2. Proficiency in electro-mechanical, control systems, servo motors, pneumatic, hydraulic, and pump systems.
3. Ability to interpret schematics, assembly drawings, and wiring lists.
4. Experience with measurement tools like micrometers, calipers, multimeters, oscilloscopes.
5. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Additional Information

2. Shift differential of 10% for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
3. Base pay: $35 - $45/hr, plus 10% shift differential.
