Job description

This is a bargaining union position - represented by Local 773, International Brotherhood of Teamsters.

The machine operator is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

1. Perform production activities including equipment setup, package filling and labeling, finished goods movement, and records retention, following Coca-Cola Quality System Guidelines to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
2. Operate forklift as needed to support production activities.
3. Maintain the plant's manufacturing equipment in satisfactory condition by cleaning and sanitizing tanks and pipe routings, maintaining conveyor belts, hooking up and loading raw material delivery tankers, and cleaning work areas, in accordance with company GMP policies and procedures.
4. Sanitize required areas when necessary.
5. Implement, evaluate, and maintain effective application of the Coca-Cola Quality System to ensure product quality as per company requirements.
6. Communicate effectively with peers and other departments to exchange feedback, identify and resolve issues, assess needs, and achieve business results.
7. Feed materials into or remove materials from machines or equipment, whether automatic or manually tended by other workers.
8. Shift hours are Monday to Friday, 14:00 - 22:30.
9. Overtime may be required daily in 4-hour increments, and additional workdays may be scheduled as dictated by business needs.
