Job Title: 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician

Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor

Department: Maintenance

FLSA: Non-exempt (eligible for overtime)

Location: Breinigsville, PA

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing all aspects of equipment and the facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure machinery and equipment operate smoothly by performing preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines, following diagrams, manuals, and specifications; troubleshoot malfunctions.
  • Identify problems by observing devices in operation, listening for issues, and using testing instruments.
  • Remove defective parts by dismantling devices and inspecting parts.
  • Check and measure parts to determine dimensional changes using appropriate tools.
  • Adjust devices and control instruments using hand tools and levels.
  • Minimize downtime by informing production staff about maintenance techniques and monitoring compliance.
  • Manage inventory of equipment, parts, and supplies, including ordering and verifying receipt.
  • Use resources efficiently to accomplish maintenance tasks.
  • Provide maintenance information in response to questions and requests.
  • Prepare maintenance reports by analyzing data and trends.
  • Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and needs to ensure team continuity.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following procedures and regulations.
  • Contribute to team efforts by completing related tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least three years of maintenance experience in a warehouse environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Walking
  • Sitting for extended periods
  • Bending, kneeling, stooping
  • Frequent hand/wrist use and fine manipulation
  • Lifting up to 20 pounds
