Job summary

Garelick Farms, Dairy Farmers of America seeks a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance, repairs, and preventive tasks on production and packaging equipment. The role requires reading schematics, troubleshooting electrical/mechanical systems, and supporting new equipment installation.

Strong teamwork and safety compliance are essential. The position offers excellent benefits, a $1,500 sign-on bonus for external candidates, and a rotating 3:00pm–11:30pm schedule with two days off

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Trade/technical school preferred in electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, etc.
• 2–4 years maintenance experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned, unplanned, and emergency maintenance on production, processing, and packaging equipment and related systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections to assess reliability.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders for maintenance tasks.
• Support installation of new equipment and assist operators with troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner while maintaining quality standards.
• Document repairs and required information clearly according to SOPs.
