Job summary

DFA Milk in Fargo, ND is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform planned and unplanned repairs on production, processing, and packaging equipment. This full-time night-shift role offers a $30+ hourly wage with a $1 per hour night differential, plus overtime opportunities and a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; trade/technical schooling preferred.
2–4 years in maintenance, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or HVAC in manufacturing.
Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
Ability to read schematics and perform repairs independently.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and/or repairs on production and utility equipment following safety procedures.
Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections.
Read technical procedures, electrical schematics, and service manuals to perform maintenance.
Assist in installing new equipment and training operators.
Maintain documentation and complete paperwork clearly and accurately.
