Job summary

Garelick Farms, Dairy Farmers of America, is seeking a 1st shift maintenance professional to install, monitor, and repair PLC devices and related systems in a dairy processing environment.

This role supports PLCs, HMIs, instrumentation, and other electronics to keep equipment running at peak performance. A high school diploma and 4–6 years of manufacturing maintenance experience are required; a technical background is preferred to ensure safety and efficiency across all plant utilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Trade/technical school in industrial automation or related field preferred.
• 4–6 years of industrial maintenance electrical or PLC experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust PLCs, HMIs, and field devices.
• Repair power and motor control systems and frequency drives.
• Diagnose equipment downtime and improve performance to reduce downtime.
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance and monitor equipment reliability.
• Maintain documentation and ensure safety and compliance with GMP and standards.
