Job summary

Garelick Farms, Dairy Farmers of America, is seeking a 1st-shift Sr. Wastewater Technician to support the plant's treatment processes and ensure safe, compliant operation. You will monitor equipment, perform analyses, and help drive continuous improvements in a safety-first environment.

This role requires 2-4 years of wastewater experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and the ability to work rotating shifts. An external candidate sign-on bonus of $1,500 is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-4 years wastewater experience with a similar onsite system.
• Licensing or ability to obtain Water/Wastewater Operator license within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment, monitor conditions, and detect malfunctions.
• Conduct COD, TSS, and other analyses; interpret results for process adjustments.
• Assist with maintenance, repair, and lubrication of wastewater equipment.
• Coordinate with supervisors and inspectors during site visits and audits.
• Support purchasing of parts, materials, and chemicals as needed.
