Job summary

Maker's Pride is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs on machines, equipment, and plant facilities. The role includes preventive maintenance, documentation, and coordination of parts and jobs with supervision from the Sanitation Manager and Plant Manager.

The position requires a 2-year trades degree or equivalent experience, strong reading/writing skills in English, and adherence to GMPs.

Qualifications

• Has completed or is working on a 2-year trades degree and/or 4 years of plant maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Conduct maintenance according to skill level and pursuant to safety policies and procedures.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make-adjustments.
• Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those unusual situations to the facility maintenance manager.
• Utilizing Microsoft Office, order and schedule parts as well as jobs.
• Perform work in a safe manner and use GMP’s at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
