Job summary

System One is hiring a Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift) in Beloit, WI for a food/sqf processing facility. The role covers electro-mechanical maintenance, preventive work, and breakdown support for pumps, valves, conveyors, motors, sensors, PLCs/VFDs, utilities, and related systems.

Responsibilities include reducing downtime, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems from diagrams, documenting work, and upholding LOTO and OSHA safety standards in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years industrial electro-mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing/processing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across motors, sensors, conveyors, pneumatics, pumps/valves.
• Comfortable with PLC/VFD troubleshooting (fault-finding / IO checks / diagnostics).
• PMs + breakdown response experience.
• LOTO / safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) and respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems using manuals, diagrams, schematics, and drawings.
• Maintain/repair equipment and plant systems including conveyors/material handling, pneumatic systems, motors/drives, sensors/instrumentation, and piping systems.
• Support plant utilities as needed (basic exposure helpful): boilers, refrigeration, air systems, wastewater.
• Document work completed and communicate day-to-day maintenance issues to leadership.
• Follow all safety practices including LOTO and OSHA requirements; maintain a safe, clean work area.
