Schwan's Company in Minnesota is seeking a maintenance technician for a 2nd shift in a food manufacturing environment. Starting pay is 26.50–30.00 per hour, plus a 1.50 shift differential from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Shift: 2:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Read and interpret safety documents and procedures.
• Enter work orders and paperwork into a computer.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment like conveyors, mixers, ovens, and packaging machines to keep production running smooth and prevent breakdowns.
• Follow food safety rules when working around production areas, using the right cleaning procedures and food-grade materials to keep everything up to code.
• Handle emergency repairs when equipment breaks down during production, getting things back up and running as fast as possible to minimize downtime.
• Manage spare parts and tools inventory to make sure you've got what you need when equipment needs fixing or upgrading.
• Always working safely, following OSHA regulations and keeping your area clean and in line with company rules.
