Job summary

CJ Schwan's is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician in Minnesota to lead preventive maintenance and repair of conveyor systems and production machinery in a food-manufacturing environment.

The role offers a strong pay package starting at $31.00 per hour with a $1.50 night shift differential, first shift 5am–1:30pm, and a path for advancement along with a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two-year maintenance degree preferred.
• 5+ years of related experience; CNC programming and welding experience preferred.
• Advanced mechanical knowledge, electrical skills, and building能力.
• Experience with high-speed manufacturing equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of conveyor systems and production machinery.
• Execute major equipment repairs, fabrication, construction, and installation projects with welding to food-safe standards.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using inspection, precision tools, and schematics.
• Fabricate and maintain plant components using lathes, shears, benders, and welding equipment.
• Provide training to production teams on maintenance best practices to reduce downtime and ensure safety.
