Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Memphis, TN to maintain and repair equipment, buildings, and fixtures within a distribution center.

The role includes performing preventative maintenance on lift trucks and electrical components, and responding quickly to uptime issues. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of maintenance-related experience, the ability to read safety rules and manuals, and strong troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in maintenance, plumbing, electrical, or related fields.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and technical instructions.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with electrical motors, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
• Must be able to train on Day shift (7am-3:30pm)

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair equipment, buildings, and fixtures within the distribution center.
• Perform preventative maintenance on lift trucks, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing, electrical, and ventilation systems.
• Inspect and evaluate roof structures, doors, and dock equipment.
• Respond promptly to urgent maintenance issues to support operational uptime.
