Job summary

IPS Corporation in Hartsville, TN is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift to install, troubleshoot and maintain production equipment and plant facilities. You will follow safety, predictive and productive maintenance processes to support site goals and ensure reliable operations.

The role requires reading manuals, diagnosing issues, performing preventive maintenance, and collaborating with maintenance/engineering leadership.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions; write routine reports; speak effectively before groups.
• Mathematical Ability: Basic arithmetic with weights/volumes.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and plant facilities.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during production and scheduled maintenance.
• Read and interpret manuals and work orders for maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, test, and adjust.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines and facilities.
• Use hand and power tools, meters, and material handling equipment.
