Job summary

Cartamundi is seeking a Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift) for our Dallas facility to support the Converting Department. The role involves machine changeovers, preventive maintenance, and keeping detailed records of all equipment and peripherals.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in manufacturing or machine repair, basic computer skills (Word/Excel), and the ability to read calipers, SAE/metric measurements, wiring diagrams, and basic manuals. SAP familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing or machine repair.
• Basic computer skills; ability to use Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of industrial blade sharpening is highly desired, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine changeovers and resets in the Converting Department.
• Conduct preventive and proactive maintenance and keep records of machinery and peripherals.
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs and manage parts backstock.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Manager for parts and expendables.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and machines meet safety standards.
• Read wiring diagrams and basic manuals to diagnose issues and set up equipment.
