Job summary

Cartamundi East Longmeadow LLC in Dallas, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift to perform changeovers, preventive maintenance, and repairs in the Converting Department. You will work with a maintenance team to ensure machines run safely and efficiently, maintaining records and parts inventory.

The role requires ability to read SAE and metric measurements, read wiring diagrams and technical drawings, and basic computer skills with SAP experience being a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to read SAE and metric measurements and use quality tools to verify quality standards.
• Read wiring diagrams and data from technical manuals to apply to the machine and identify root causes.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Word and Excel; ability to learn SAP for logging make ready time.

Responsibilities

• Work with the safety officer to ensure machines meet safety standards.
• Maintain a safe working environment free from hazards.
• Follow Lock Out Tag Out procedures and safety policies.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance Team to keep machines running.
• Keep detailed maintenance records of all equipment.
• Manage backstock of setup parts and submit orders as needed.
• Read technical drawings and wiring diagrams to support setup tasks.
