Job summary

Alliance Industrial Solutions is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician in Cleveland, OH to install, maintain, and troubleshoot essential machinery and systems. The role supports uptime, safety, and efficiency in the plant, with a focus on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing duties.

The ideal candidate will read schematics, operate forklifts, and respond to on-call repairs, with a regular 2:00 PM–10:00 PM schedule and competitive hourly pay. Start date is ASAP.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training in electrical, electronics, HVAC, hydraulics, or welding preferred
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, tow motors, and pallet jacks
• Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and respond to on-call breakdown repairs
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for domestic travel as needed
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and good communication skills
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Installing, dismantling, maintaining, and adjusting machinery and mechanical service equipment
• Analyzing mechanical and electrical issues, planning corrective actions to maximize uptime and product quality
• Reviewing circuits, wiring diagrams, and schematics to repair and calibrate electronic systems
• Performing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing duties, including moving, repairing, and installing machinery
• Troubleshooting equipment with blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals, then executing repairs
• Conducting preventative maintenance checks on various systems and testing equipment after repairs
• Executing equipment start-ups and shut-downs in compliance with safety procedures and OSHA Lockout/Tagout requirements
• Advising machine operators and supervisors about potential hazards and malfunctions
• Supporting team efforts by completing assigned tasks efficiently and accurately

Location & Schedule
