2nd shift Maintenance Technician
Hourly Pay Range: $25 - $35/ hour (Depending on experience)

Responsibilities

• Proficient with PLCs, Drives, and Schematics (required for 1st and 2nd shift)
• Initiate purchase orders for parts and supplies
• Record all maintenance performed in the maintenance log in written English
• Maintain and assemble spare parts inventory
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment
• Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components
• Measure, cut, thread, and install piping (air, water, gas)
• Install new auxiliary equipment on production machines
• Cut, weld, and fabricate structural equipment
• Diagnose equipment failures to determine root causes
• Setup and operate metalworking tools to make repair parts
• Monitor equipment functioning to detect hazards and need for adjustments or replacements
• Pull wiring through conduits and install electrical conduits
• Connect power supply wires and cables to machines and equipment

Qualifications

• Proficient with PLCs, Drives, and Schematics
• Proficient with test instruments
• Good mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Skilled in using common hand and power tools
• Proficient with IBM-compatible computers
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience
• Basic mechanical maintenance and repair skills
• Good communication skills in English (reading, writing, listening, speaking)
• Completion of 9th-grade mathematics or equivalent proficiency
