Job Title: 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician (Open)

Role Overview:

The Maintenance Technician maintains, tests, and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components.

Shift: 2pm-10:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform duties safely and report safety concerns immediately.
2. Start up and shut down equipment per operational and safety procedures.
3. Perform fabrication, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance supporting continuous improvement.
4. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, including belts, pulleys, gears, motors, pumps, and test equipment.
5. Review drawings, specifications, and instructions for repairs and maintenance.
6. Plan work procedures, determine material needs, and approach repair problems logically.
7. Perform plant-wide maintenance and adjustments.
8. Assist in maintaining building systems like heating and cooling.
9. Disassemble, move, or install equipment as needed.
10. Maintain tools and work area safety and organization.
11. Maintain logs and records, including electronic CMMS systems.
12. Follow preventative maintenance schedules.
13. Promote safety practices, including PPE use and safety features.
14. May train others in maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

• Technical or professional certification preferred; associate degree in related field is a plus.
• 7+ years of experience or equivalent training in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• 5+ years in mechanical repairs, hydraulics, and pneumatics preferred.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Proficient with CMMS software.
• Experience with lathe, mill, drill press.
• Strong mechanical, welding, hydraulic, pneumatic skills.
• Ability to operate relevant machinery and tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and assembly skills.
• Ability to read and follow technical specifications.

Compensation & Benefits:
