Role Overview

Maintains, tests, and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components.

2nd Shift

2pm-10:30pm

Key Responsibilities

• Perform duties safely and report safety concerns immediately.
• Start up and shut down equipment per operational and safety procedures.
• Perform fabrication, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance to support continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, belts, pulleys, gears, motors, pumps, etc.
• Follow instructions for emergency and scheduled repairs, installations, and inspections.
• Plan work procedures, determine material needs, and approach repair problems logically.
• Perform plant-wide mechanical maintenance, adjustments, and other duties as assigned.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment, including disassembly, rebuilding, and installation.
• Maintain tools, work areas, logs, and records, including CMMS if applicable.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedules and promote safety practices.
• May train others in maintenance activities.

Education and Experience

• Technical or professional certification preferred; associate degree in related field advantageous.
• 7+ years of experience or equivalent training in manufacturing or industrial environment.
• 5+ years preferred in mechanical repairs, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Knowledge and Skills

• Proficient in CMMS software.
• Experience with lathe, mill, drill press.
• Advanced skills in mechanical, welding, hydraulic, pneumatic work.
• Ability to operate relevant machinery and tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, assembly, and disassembly skills.
• Ability to read and follow equipment specifications.

Compensation Range

$39.04 per hour, with potential eligibility for a short-term incentive.
