Job summary

AGC Glass Company North America in Bellefontaine, Ohio, is seeking a Quality Engineer to evaluate breakdown for levels 1–4. You will develop and implement quality control systems, conduct audits and testing, and collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain to resolve quality issues.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s in a related field (Master’s preferred), 3–5 years in quality engineering, and strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, APQP, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA, and related

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in quality engineering or related field.
• Working knowledge of automotive standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001).
• Experience with process improvement and problem-solving methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean, FMEA, RCA).
• Ability to conduct audits, inspections, and testing for compliance with standards.
• Experience with quality control software tools and Minitab.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control systems and processes.
• Conduct audits and testing to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Identify areas for improvement in the production process, reducing defects and enhancing quality.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of quality assurance documentation, including process flows, inspection reports, and corrective actions.
