Job summary

GLOCK, Inc. is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing machinery and related equipment. The role emphasizes electrical, mechanical, and fluid systems expertise, precision measurement, and CMMS logging.

The position is on 1st shift (6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Mon–Fri) with overtime as needed. Candidates should have a high school diploma and 7+ years of related experience, including DC/AC repair and PLC/HMI knowledge.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent; 7+ years related experience.
Experience with DC/AC repair and troubleshooting; reading machine prints in electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic domains.
Experience with plastic/metal injection molding, CNC milling/turning is a plus.
Strong mathematical skills and metric system knowledge.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair faulty equipment, parts, and systems using electrical, mechanical, and fluid knowledge.
Use precision tools to ensure proper function of machine components and adjust as needed.
Perform preventative maintenance, routine cleaning, minor repairs, and inspections.
Complete installation, removal, and improvements as required.
Monitor test equipment and data loggers; inspect and test machinery to specs.
Record work in CMMS and keep accurate maintenance logs.
Inform production leadership of maintenance activities per procedures.
Schedule planned downtime with production supervision.
Monitor spare parts inventory and manage multiple priorities.
Demonstrate strong problem-solving and safety/quality focus.
