Liberty Diversified International (LDI) in Omaha, NE, seeks a Maintenance Technician II to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, PLC understanding, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

The position reports to the Maintenance Manager and offers comprehensive benefits; overtime and weekend work may be required. Prior manufacturing maintenance experience or completion of the LDI Level II program is

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• 3+ years of experience as a maintenance tech/mechanic in manufacturing OR completion of LDI Level II program.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting complex equipment issues.
• Solid understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be available to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent equipment failures and downtime.
• Assist in installation, setup, and calibration of new equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, parts usage, and equipment history.
• Train and mentor junior technicians as needed.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
