Job summary

Quanex is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for the 2nd shift in Orwell, Ohio. The role ensures robust operation of equipment through preventative maintenance and continuous improvement.

This on-site, full-time position offers hourly pay between $27.29 and $40.94, a 2:00 pm–10:30 pm schedule, plus benefits including 401(k) match, ESPP, disability and life insurance, PTO, tuition support, and more.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of maintenance experience.
• Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), drives, HMIs, and other electrical components experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance of all equipment.
• Assist in implementing new equipment and equipment improvements.
• Diagnose failed components and safely work on voltages up to 480V.
• Communicate with maintenance personnel and line workers to solve issues.
