Quanex in Cambridge, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician IV (Lead) for the 2nd shift to supervise and perform repairs on plant equipment. You will direct technicians, plan maintenance tasks, and ensure safe execution.

The role requires 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, high school diploma, ability to read electrical/mechanical schematics, and diagnose failed components up to 480V. Hourly pay ranges from $35 to $43, plus bonus potential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3–5 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with team members and outside resources.
• Must be able to read electrical and mechanical schematics and diagnose failed components up to 480V.

Responsibilities

• Direct workers engaged in repairing production equipment and performing preventive maintenance.
• Prioritize work of others and supervise shift activities.
• Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• Inspect completed work for conformance to specifications and safety standards.
• Mentor and train employees; assist the Maintenance Supervisor in performance reviews.
