Job summary

Kloeckner Metals Corporation is looking for a Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift hours. You will coordinate all OEM equipment preventative maintenance and handle internal breakdowns ensuring operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate should have a high school degree, technical background, and 2+ years of mechanical experience, particularly in electrical systems and hydraulics. A strong focus on safety and precision is crucial. Benefits include 401(k) matching and health insurance.

Qualifications

• High school degree and technical background required, trade/vocational school preferred.
• Minimum 2 years mechanical experience required, agricultural and/or automotive a plus.
• Strong background in electrical systems, hydraulics, air brakes, and diesel engines.
• Ability to lift heavy mechanical components and work outside in all types of weather.

Responsibilities

• Complete preventive maintenance requests and work with OEM on production equipment.
• Fabricate repair parts using internal engineering and company equipment.
• Maintain spare parts inventory provided by OEM.
• Prepare mechanical maintenance information and document in company software.
