Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Maintenance Hourly 2nd Shift 1st Processing technician to perform a wide range of maintenance duties on production equipment and facilities. The role requires reading manuals, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance in a challenging food processing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; prior maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and facility equipment.
• Provide emergency repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance during machine service.
• Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
• Use hand and power tools, meters and material handling equipment.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed and work areas are clean.
