Job summary

Dr. Squatch in Brea, CA is seeking a hands-on 2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance execution and reliability for deodorant and cold‑process soap equipment. You will supervise technicians and contractor support, set safety and quality expectations, and partner with Production to improve uptime and line performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior lead, supervisor, or shift leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS (UpKeep preferred).
• Strong safety and GMP/compliance mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2nd shift maintenance across production equipment (deodorant and soap).
• Supervise technicians, mechanics, and contractor support.
• Set safety, urgency, troubleshooting, and documentation expectations.
• Partner with Production to support schedule attainment and line efficiency.
• Ensure PMs and maintenance work are captured in UpKeep CMMS and reviewed for quality.
• Coach technicians on CMMS usage and documentation.
• Maintain cross‑functional communication with Quality, EH&S, and Engineering.
