Job summary

Indiana Packers Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the Delphi, Indiana plant on 2nd shift. The role oversees preventative and corrective maintenance, ensures high equipment availability, and guides a maintenance team in a processing environment.

The supervisor will apply their experience to minimize downtime, drive PM/CM activities, and maintain adherence to safety and quality standards. Candidates should be prepared for weekend work and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2+ years of management experience in a processing manufacturing environment with 10+ direct reports.
• 5+ years of maintenance technician experience on processing equipment and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of USDA and HACCP procedures.
• Proficient with MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance team members per established procedures.
• Coach team on safety, quality, efficiency and cost improvements.
• Perform annual performance evaluations for team members.
• Attend roll calls to assign daily work and provide safety reminders.
• Ensure PPE, Lockout, and GMP/SQF compliance and that tools are carried.
• Review PMs, assign work, and ensure quality and schedule adherence.
• Develop area work lists, check parts, and manage weekend work.
