Indiana Packers Corporation (IPC), a dynamic fresh pork processor based in Delphi, Indiana, is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to support production through preventative and routine maintenance, wiring, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment.

Qualifications

• Industrial Maintenance Degree preferred; HS diploma with experience will be considered.
• Ability to wire, troubleshoot and repair 3 Phase 480VAC systems, 24VDC and 120VAC control systems and motor control circuits.
• Ability to wire both low and high voltage motors.
• Ability to use DMM and Megger.
• Must read and comprehend prints, schematics and other company documents.
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends as needed.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to work in extreme hot, cold, wet, humid, odorous environments.
• Must possess personal hand tools for the position.
• Willingness to complete Confined Space training.
• Hazmat certification a plus.
• Offers are contingent on passing a skill test and physical assessment with lifting test and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Support the production operation by providing immediate response to all breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Complete preventative and corrective maintenance on meat processing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with facility equipment and tools.
• Follow safety policies and company rules.
• Perform other duties as needed or required.
• Collaborate with coworkers, supervisors, and managers to maintain a positive work atmosphere
