Job summary

Indiana Packers Corporation seeks a Production Trainer for the second shift at our Delphi, IN facility to deliver hands-on training and ensure safety, GMP, USDA compliance, and quality standards are understood across production teams.

You will train new hires, track progress, translate for non-English speakers, maintain training records, and work with cross-functional teams to improve onboarding and retention. Monday–Friday with some weekend work; benefits included.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in training or leadership is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage schedules and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficient in using training tools and basic computer software including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Willing to be cross trained in various departments and adjust work schedules as required.
• Must be bilingual read/write in English, Spanish, French or Creole.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on‑the‑job training for new hires in various production roles (cut, harvest, packaging).
• Reinforce safety, GMP, production and USDA compliance policies.
• Track, document and monitor trainee progress and provide feedback to supervisors and Training Department Supervision.
• Partner with department leads to identify and rectify training needs and skill gaps.
• Maintain and file accurate training records, checklists, and reports.
• Serve as a role model for safe and effective production practices.
• Translate and assist non‑English speaking team members.
