Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America in Columbus, Indiana is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the second shift (3pm-11pm, Monday–Friday) with overtime. You will diagnose, repair, rebuild, or replace mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic plant systems and perform preventive maintenance as part of a multi-craft team in a production environment.

2+ years of industrial troubleshooting are required; a technical degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
• The production schedule is 3 shifts; shift assignments by seniority.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, or replace mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on plant equipment.
• Work as part of a team to safely perform preventive maintenance and respond to breakdowns in a production environment.
• All maintenance technician positions are multicraft and training is provided to develop these skills.
