Job summary

Tyson Foods Seguin plant is seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of 15 technicians, directing maintenance activities and preventative programs. The role requires strong leadership, PLC and SAP familiarity, and a focus on safety and GMP compliance to minimize downtime and ensure reliable production.

You will report to the Maintenance Manager and help implement policies, coordinate repairs, and train staff in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading a 15-person maintenance team or more.
• Ability to diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PLC issues and direct repairs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct maintenance technicians and foster a trained staff.
• Develop and maintain an effective preventative maintenance program for equipment.
• Ensure safety, GMP compliance, and a clean, safe work environment.
• Minimize downtime by quickly assessing problems and coordinating repairs.
