Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of people leadership or supervisory experience.
• Hands-on experience with assembly line machinery including PLC programming.
• Excellent reading, writing and math skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and mechanical skills. Read blueprints.
• Basic computer skills using Excel and Word.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to influence culture from reactive to proactive maintenance methodologies.
• Must be willing to work off shift hours (as needed).

Responsibilities

• Directs the maintenance workforce and provides on-site expertise.
• Ensures work is performed safely and efficiently.
• Reviews work planning and scheduling with the production planner.
• Maintains quality and safety standards across maintenance activities.
• Ensures equipment availability to meet the production plan.
• Coordinates with supervisors to facilitate operator maintenance duties.
• Ensures maintenance staff are trained and qualified for tasks.
• Administers compliance with environmental regulations.
• Monitors CMMS systems and maintenance data.
• Implements preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Collaborates with procurement/vendors for parts and bids.
• Oversees major maintenance overhauls and outages.
• Manages the maintenance budget.
