Job summary

ThisWay is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Casa Grande, AZ to lead the maintenance team, work with the Maintenance Manager, and drive reliability and safety across production and facilities. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, project leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to maintain competitiveness.

The position is second shift (12-hour rotating 2-2-3) with participation in a 24-hour on-call rotation, requiring strong leadership and hands-on electrical expertise to improve uptime

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of five years of experience as an Electrical Technician in a manufacturing facility; food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience.
• Technical diploma in a manufacturing electrical field preferred.
• Relevant military maintenance experience (2–3 years) or technical training considered relevant.
• Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and repair.
• Ability to manage maintenance projects, coordinate schedules, and oversee personnel.
• Strong team-building, people management, and leadership skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including face-to-face, written, presentation, and cross-functional communication.
• Availability to work second shift on a 12-hour rotating schedule (2-2-3).
• Ability to participate in a 24-hour on-call rotation.
• Ability to follow food safety, sanitation, personal hygiene, and quality assurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Advance training and technical abilities within the maintenance staff.
• Oversee and provide training in electrical troubleshooting.
• Oversee major repairs and servicing of production and facility equipment.
• Manage projects involving new production equipment and process improvements.
• Perform Siemens programming and additions to PLC processes.
• Organize equipment servicing by outside vendors.
• Plan maintenance services to be completed during shutdowns.
• Oversee parts inventory and ordering.
• Participate in and implement plant safety procedures.
