Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Maintenance Technician Team Lead to guide hands-on mechanical, electrical, and facility maintenance on a 2nd shift within a food manufacturing environment. The role requires leading the on-shift maintenance team, coordinating PM, and ensuring equipment uptime with safe practices.

You will communicate across shifts, review PM completion, document repairs, and drive continuous improvement with Production and Engineering to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years maintenance in manufacturing, preferably food.
• 3+ years industrial electrical experience.
• 1+ year boiler equipment experience.
• Knowledge of GMPs, food safety, and processing equipment.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and off-shift as needed.
• Basic maintenance tools required.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance activities on shift and delegate work to the team.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Document maintenance activities and ensure safety and quality standards.
