Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain in Ogden, UT is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for the 2nd shift (Afternoon/Evening). You will independently troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, interpret schematics, and perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe and compliant operations.

Responsibilities include maintaining logs, communicating status to leadership, and handling on-call emergencies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing/packaging environment.
• Ability to work at elevated heights using ladders and operate aerial lift equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and maintenance skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service oriented and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on machines, tools, HVAC, electrical, automation, and plumbing.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and manuals to understand system operations.
• Maintain repair logs and use maintenance tracking software.
• Provide after-hours or weekend emergency repair services.
• Adhere to safety standards, lockout/tagout, and PPE.
