Job summary

US Conec, Ltd. is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (2pm–10pm) to support molding and assembly equipment.

You’ll assist with setup, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventive maintenance to keep production running smoothly, collaborating with the Maintenance Mechanic and cross‑functional teams. Responsibilities include diagnosing malfunctions, documenting repairs in the maintenance work order system, and participating in safety meetings.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate or 3–6 months of related experience/training.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to adapt quickly to changes.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, set up, and troubleshoot molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and assembly equipment.
• Diagnose malfunctions using appropriate test equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on injection molding and assembly equipment.
• Document repairs using the Maintenance Work Order System.
• Participate in problem-solving and process improvement initiatives.
• Perform general equipment maintenance and housekeeping in maintenance areas.
• Maintain compressed air systems and machine water towers.
• Support team coverage for maintenance responsibilities across off-shifts (24‑hour on‑call).
• Respond to emergency issues affecting production or facility operations after hours.
• Order repair components and supplies as needed.
