Reworld is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the 2nd shift (3:30 pm - 12:00 am) to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment in our NY facility. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and collaborate with teams to minimize downtime while adhering to safety standards.

The role requires 2–4 years in a heavy industrial environment and the ability to work a rotating shift. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2–4 years’ experience in heavy industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive maintenance per schedule to prevent equipment breakdowns and downtime.
• Use root-cause analysis to investigate breakdowns and line stoppages with teams.
• Prioritize work to minimize downtime and complete paperwork in CMMS.
• Open and close out work orders and manage spare parts in the maintenance system.
• Inspect and repair/maintain production machinery, including assembly and replacement as needed.
• Monitor machinery operation to diagnose malfunctions with mechanical tools.
• Review maintenance reports to plan activities and ensure safety standards.
• Inspect machines for conformance with operational and safety standards.
