Job summary

Aztalan Bio LLC in Wisconsin is seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician to join our team on Mon–Fri, 2:00pm–10:30pm. In this full-time role you will perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment, while providing day-to-day leadership and technical guidance to the maintenance staff.

The position requires at least 4 years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience and demonstrates strong troubleshooting, teamwork, and safety-first

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably chemical or food manufacturing.
• Experience providing work direction, mentoring, or informal leadership to maintenance personnel preferred.
• Trade school certification or equivalent mechanical maintenance education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties of the Maintenance Technician, including preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment.
• Assist the Maintenance Foreman in coordinating daily maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
• Provide day-to-day direction, technical support, and mentorship to maintenance technicians.
• Assign and prioritize daily work based on skills and production priorities.
• Lead technician during assigned shifts and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other system issues.
