Job summary

John F. Martin and Sons, LLC is seeking a dependable 2nd Shift Maintenance Team Lead to keep food production running safely and efficiently at the Womelsdorf facility.

You will lead daily maintenance activities, perform preventive and emergency repairs, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, guiding technicians and coordinating priorities with production. Qualifications

• At least two years of industrial maintenance experience; food processing or food manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems; knowledge of welding and PLCs is helpful.
• Ability to lead by example, communicate clearly, set priorities, and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Dependable, self-motivated approach with strong time management, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow LOTO, GMP, PPE, food safety, company safety, and maintenance documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily maintenance activities and help coordinate priorities based on production and maintenance needs.
• Perform preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and equipment adjustments.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment issues.
• Provide technical guidance and follow-up while working alongside maintenance technicians.
• Communicate equipment status, repair updates, and shift-transition information.
• Complete work orders, preventive maintenance tasks, and maintenance documentation accurately and on time.
• Support equipment reliability, continuous improvement, safe work practices, and a clean work area.
