Job summary

The Tyson Foods Maintenance Generalist will perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems in a fresh food manufacturing environment, ensuring safety, food safety standards, and regulatory compliance.

The role supports production, collaborates with sanitation, and adheres to OSHA, USDA, and Tyson policies. It requires 2nd shift availability, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of maintenance experience with a single employer in the past 12 months.
• Valid State Driver's License required.
• Able to stand, lift up to 75 pounds and operate around moving machinery.
• Shift flexibility to support 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime and restore operations quickly.
• Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO), PPE, and safe work practices at all times.
• Coordinate maintenance work with Production and Sanitation and document activities.
