Job summary

Tyson Foods in the United States is seeking a Maintenance Generalist to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment across the plant. You will diagnose mechanical and basic electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and document actions taken while complying with safety policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience or completion of Industrial Maintenance Training.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to stand, walk, climb, lift 50–70 lbs, and work in varied temperatures.
• Willing to wear PPE and follow safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment while ensuring safety.
• Provide service for mechanical and electrical issues.
• Document actions taken to correct problems.
• Respond to breakdowns and emergencies.
