Job summary

ATS, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Service Leader in Minnesota to oversee daily maintenance and repair operations, schedule work, and manage parts and records for safe, efficient service. You will coordinate with shop personnel, vendors, drivers, and contractors to deliver quality results.

The role emphasizes supervising staff, enforcing DOT compliance, and driving customer service excellence across the fleet.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years related field experience or a 2-year AAS in diesel/maintenance.
• 1–3 years supervisory experience in a maintenance shop.
• Experience with Meritor Toolbox, Bendix, Haldex preferred.
• Strong parts/inventory control understanding.
• Able to read and reference DOT Out of Service rules.
• Willing to travel infrequently, including overnight.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate installation, maintenance and repair by scheduling work and leading technicians.
• Partner with Shop Manager on recruiting, onboarding and training new staff.
• Provide performance management with SMART goals and feedback.
• Monitor preventive maintenance to meet safety and DOT standards.
• Ensure work orders include required parts for accurate billing.
• Communicate status to drivers and operations; ensure customer service.
