The Marzetti Company in Kentucky is seeking a 2nd Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician to support the Food Service line. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and help with process improvements alongside operators and management.

The ideal candidate has a 2-year mechanical/electrical degree or 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, and may hold forklift/pallet jack training. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifikationen

• 2 year mechanical and electrical degree preferred or 3–5 years industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience in an industrial environment handling sanitizing chemicals and non-toxic food products desired.
• Forklift and pallet jack operation training helpful.
• Read and comprehend instruction sheets for cleaning chemicals; mechanical aptitude helpful.
• Ability to read schematics.
• Passing score on a written test required.
• Work cooperatively with a team.
• Safe operation with PPE and equipment.

Aufgaben

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to keep equipment efficient.
• Assist operators to ensure production lines stay operational.
• Service motors, conveyors, transmissions and packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on production lines.
• Work with SAP or CMMS for maintenance tasks.
