The Marzetti Company, Kentucky facility, is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to support 1st shift operations. You’ll perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on conveyors and packaging equipment, and participate in process improvements to enhance OEE.

Responsibilities include equipment installation/repair, guiding operators, and keeping production lines running. Prior experience with food service equipment and GMP safety is preferred.

Formación

• 2 year mechanical and electrical degree preferred or have 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Experience in an industrial environment handling sanitizing chemicals and non-toxic food products desired.
• Training in forklift and pallet jack operation helpful.
• Must be able to read and comprehend instruction sheets provided with cleaning chemicals; strong mechanical aptitude helpful.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance to maintain equipment efficiency.
• Disassemble and assemble equipment for new installation and repair existing equipment.
• Assist operators in mechanical and electrical capacities to ensure production lines remain operational.
• Servicing and maintaining equipment including motors, conveying systems, transmission systems, and production related equipment.
• Provide maintenance support required to sustain continuous production on the Food Service line.
• Lubricate all machinery with the proper lubricants.
• Change drive belts, timing belts, etc., on all machinery.
