Job summary

CJ Schwan's in Kentucky is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot conveyor systems and food production equipment. You will support setup, welding, fabrication, and installation to keep production running smoothly.

Requires 3+ years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs; SAP experience preferred. Starting pay is $31.00 per hour with a $1.50 shift differential and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related maintenance experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work different shift hours.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on conveyor systems and production machinery.
• Perform mechanical repairs including components replacement and welding as needed.
• Assist with equipment setup, teardown, and installation for production needs.
• Diagnose issues through observation and precision measurements; identify root causes.
• Use SAP to document maintenance activity and coordinate with teams.
