Rogers Group, Inc. in Roanoke, VA is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician for our Virginia SMA operations. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and reliability of plant equipment in a mining environment.

The candidate will perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on crushers, conveyors, screens, and related hardware to ensure continuous production and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose and repair plant equipment.
• 2–3 years mining experience preferred.
• Experience with crushers, conveyors, and screens.
• Fabrication, cutting and welding experience required.
• Uncompromising focus on safety and reliability.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Flexible hours and locations; valid driver’s license.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of plant equipment.
• Execute preventative maintenance and cleaning.
• Lubricate and adjust mechanisms; replace liners and panels.
• Repair conveyor belts and adjust mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and ensure safety of operations.
• Maintain safety and efficiency of crushing plant.

Rogers Group Inc. is currently seeking an experienced 2 nd Shift Maintenance Technician for our Virginia SMA operations in Roanoke, VA. The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to lead safety, quality, and revenue generation throughout our existing operations and additional operations through growth.

Job Details

• Wages starting at $21.00/hour.Higher wages may be paid based on verifiable experience.
• 2-3 years mining experience preferred
• Fulltime/Permanent
• 2 nd Shift, Nights (3 p.m. - 3 a.m.)
• Weekend work may be required
• Overtime available

Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections

Job Qualifications

• Self-motivated individual - must be able to perform required duties independently, without constant supervision.
• Must be flexible on working hours and locations with the ability to adapt to different work environments.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen.
