Job summary

Rogers Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Maintenance / Millwright Technician in Tanner, Alabama. The role reports to the Tanner Plant Manager and focuses on safety, quality, and revenue generation across operations and potential growth.

Starting wage is based on experience, with 2-3 years mining experience required and a 2nd shift schedule (nights). Weekend work may be required and overtime is available. The position offers strong benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years mining experience required.
• Experience working with crushers, conveyors, and screens is required.
• Experience in fabricating, cutting, and welding is required.
• Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, without close supervision.
• Must be flexible on working hours and locations with the ability to adapt to different work environments.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of plant equipment.
• Perform routine inspections.
• Conduct Preventative Maintenance.
• Lubricate and clean mechanisms.
• Replace crusher liners and screen panels.
• Adjust and repair conveyor belts.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Ensure safety and operational efficiency of crushing plant equipment.

Rogers Group is currently seeking an experienced 2 nd Shift Maintenance / Millwright Technician in the Tanner, Alabama, Alabama SMA reporting to the Tanner Plant Manager. The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to lead safety, quality, and revenue generation throughout our existing operations and additional operations through growth.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for overseeing maintenance

• Previous fixed plant maintenance or related mining industry experience is required.
• Experience working with crushers, conveyors, and screens is required.
• Experience in fabricating, cutting, and welding is required.
• Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, without close supervision.
• Self-motivated individual - must be able to perform required duties independently, without constant supervision.
• Must be flexible on working hours and locations with the ability to adapt to different work environments.
• Valid driver’s license.
