Job summary

Pitney Bowes is hiring a Warehouse Associate (Mail Presort) for our Charlotte, NC facility. The 2nd shift runs Monday through Friday, 5:00 PM to 1:15 AM EST, with a total pay of $17.50 per hour (base $16.50 + $1 shift differential).

You will learn to prepare outgoing mail, inspect barcodes, fix jams, monitor mail quality, and follow Quality Management System practices to ensure accurate, on-time processing.

Qualifications

• Dependable with reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs with or without accommodations.
• Ability to walk, stand, and bend for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outgoing permit and metered mail with correct date and postage.
• Identify and communicate barcode errors on mail and packages.
• Troubleshoot and clear mail jams from sorting equipment.
• Monitor mail quality prior to processing and dispatch.
• Understand USPS labels and matching bin to tray numbers.
• Follow Quality Management System practices to ensure output quality.
• Assist with inbound/outbound processing and operational duties.
